The following is a Hermetic Rite of Destruction & Terror, a Curse personally formulated & refined via the guidelines of the Septenary System of the Sinister Tradition. The main energy so employed is that of the Corpse Mother: Dark Goddess Shugara, represented by Sinister Tarot Atu XVIII The Moon, and thus draws on the power of Sphere 1° Luna (Sinister Knowledge & Terror to the Uninitiated) and Sphere 5° Mars (Death, Destruction, & Sacrifice).

This specific Hermetic Curse has very dramatic results, including the afflicted slowly succumbing to madness and/or illness, traumatizing nightmares/hallucinations, destruction/damage to one's home, social isolation/alienation, “paranormal activity,” loss of financial livelihood, and many other symptoms of Terror & Personal Destruction.

As with all workings with Shugara, it is recommended one at least be Initiated into the Sinister Tradition before attempting this Rite (for She is Terror to the Un-Initiated), but preferably one will have reached the Grade of External Adept before so doing such workings, in order for an adequate degree of Sinister Empathy with the employed forces to first be psychologically possible for the Practitioner.

Preparation

Relentless Torment at the hands of The Corpse Mother Shugara; a Hermetic Curse of Terror, Destruction, & Death. As with all Hermetic Rituals, this Rite is best performed solitarily, though including your Magickal Companion is also acceptable if Hatred for the target is mutually shared.

You will need:

• Incense of Musk & Petriochor

• Athame/Ritual Knife

• Silver Bowl

• Painting Canvas

• Paint Brush(es)

• Paint, including the colors black, blue, silver, & red

• Candles, black & red colored

• Sinister Tarot Atu XVIII The Moon, displayed

• Matches

• Flammable Liquid, such as alcohol

• Grave Dirt

• Photo of N.N.

• Quartz (Pointed), preferably Tetrahedron

• Ruby Stone/Crystal Jewelry, worn

• Inverted Septagram, displayed

• Lanterns, red glass (if outdoors)

• Seven Stones, to encircle the working area (if outdoors)

• Silver Bell

The Rite should begin just after the Sun has set, whether indoors or outdoors. The night of the New Moon on an evening when the constellation Orionis (and thus the Star Rigel) is in the night sky is preferable in terms of time, but is not strictly necessary. If possible, a traditional seven day Black Fast should be undertaken leading up to the working.

The Rite

Prepare the site by lighting the Incenses & Candles, arranging all other wares in a way that feels conducive to the ethos of Terror & Destruction.

To open the Ritual, perform a traditional chant of the Sphere of Mars (Agios Alastoros, as found in NAOS) or vibrate Shugara nine times plus an additional four times, as you walk Widdershins around the perimeter of the Ritual site three times.

After the opening, Ring the bell to signal the commencing of the work. Take up the Quartz and vibrate Shugara nine times plus an additional four times before performing a short traditional Pathworking with Sinister Tarot Atu XVIII The Moon. After the Pathworking, vocalize your intention with all of your might at the horizon, saying “COME DARK GODDESS SHUGARA, BRING ME MY DESIRE! INFLICT TERROR & DESTRUCTION UPON N.N.”

Begin a frenzied Widdershins dance around the site, screaming & laughing as you will, proclaiming your Godhood & Power as you do so, conjuring feelings of sadism & hatred as you do so. Continue your dance until you collapse on the ground, allowing whatever sensations & thoughts to saturate you as they will.

Once your breath has returned, seat yourself in front of your Painting Canvas. Take up the Quqrtz & your photo of N.N., and visualize them undergoing unspeakable torments of Terror, Destruction, & Death- engage your Empathy, imagine their emotional reactions to the plagues you send them, watch their life crumble before your eyes as they helplessly beg for mercy they will not receive.

After your visualization, maintain your sadistic feelings of hatred, and begin painting on the canvas a portrait of N.N. with an anguished expression of terror, loss, & agony. Be sure to include the aforementioned colors in your portrait, and otherwise engage your Creativity, feeling their feelings as you capture their Acausal essence in your causal medium. Really exert effort in this painting, aiming to make it the most realistic & impressive portrait you have ever painted.

At some point in the painting process, take up the Athame/Ritual Knife, and bleed yourself into the Silver Bowl; use this blood sacrifice as paint in your portrait, infusing your blood opfering into your work, effectively bringing it to life.

Take as long as is needed for this painting; even if it takes hours, days, whatever, complete the work in its entirety in one single session.

Upon completion of your anguished portrait, exhausted & satisfied with your creation, point your blood stained Athame/Knife at the portrait & state: “I who gave you life, also take.” Pour the Flammable Liquid onto your portrait, laughing jovially as you exalt in the deed you are about to commit.

Once soaked with the Flammable Liquid, point the Athame/Knife at your portrait once more and vibrate Shugara nine times plus an additional four times, visualizing your desired outcome as you do so. Then, visualization completed, light a match & throw it on your portrait, exalting in the energies released by the Sacrificial Fire as you vocalize again, “COME DARK GODDESS SHUGARA! BRING ME MY DESIRE! BRING TERROR & DESTRUCTION TO N.N.!”

As the fire burns, dance once again in the direction of Widdershins, screaming & laughing as you will. Once the fire has burned down, physically exhausted, collapse to the ground, allowing whatever thoughts & sensations you have to fill you as they will.

Once satisfied, stand, bow to the horizon, say “It is done” and collect whatever ashes/ruins are left of your portrait & depart the area.

Carry the Quartz with you always until the next night of the Full Moon, and bury the ashes/ruins with Grave Dirt next to running water, saying “The Earth rejects N.N.,” visualizing again your desire for a final time while holding the Quartz.

The working is then complete.
